About Us

Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility is a medical supply company satisfying the special needs of customers throughout the pacific region. Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility was founded in 1970 by Mr. Douglas R. Dauterman, a veteran naval officer who served in the Pacific during World War II. Mr. Dauterman initially began selling medical products from his garage and the business rapidly expanded. The business continued to grow with new lines being added every year. In 1991, Mr. Dauterman retired and sold the business to his employees. 

In keeping with Mr. Dauterman’s philosophy, Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility has been committed to providing high quality products at reasonable prices.  Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility represents and specializes in ostomy, incontinence, wound care, skin care and urological supplies as well as mobility scooters, power wheelchairs and lift chair recliners; aids for daily living, bath safety products and diagnostic items.  Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility represents durable medical equipment such as walkers, rollators and shower chairs, transfer benches, transport and manual wheelchairs, canes and crutches. Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility also carries a full line of compression stockings and other orthopedic supports.  We also now carry Fully Adjustable Beds.

Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility continues to expand its product selection with new products on a regular basis. This growth and commitment is due to the fact that Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility is still a small, privately owned, service-oriented, kamaaina company. Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility continues to concentrate on the needs of individuals and health care professionals. We have built our business on product selection, dependability and service and will continue to make this our goal.

Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility is conveniently located in Honolulu at 2700 S King St and has free parking.  Parking is a mere 20 feet from the front door with easy mobility access.  Dauterman Heathcare & Mobility has a 4000 square foot showroom where you can peruse all our numerous product offerings.
