Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility was founded in 1970 by Mr. Douglas R. Dauterman, a veteran naval officer who served in the Pacific during World War II. Mr. Dauterman initially began selling medical products from his garage and the business rapidly expanded. The business continued to grow with new lines being added every year. In 1991, Mr. Dauterman retired and sold the business to his employees.

Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility also carries a full line of cold therapy wraps and other orthopedic supports.
